Mission

At the heart of my work is a genuine love and understanding of dogs — not just their behaviour, but who they are as individuals. Living alongside my own dogs, sensitive Dennis and carefree Olive, reminds me every day that dogs, just like people, experience the world differently. And that’s okay. In fact, it’s what makes life with dogs so special and interesting.

I understand how deeply our own emotions, stress, and day-to-day challenges can affect our dogs, and how overwhelming it can feel when behaviours begin to impact the harmony at home. We ask so much of our dogs to fit into our busy lives, routines, and expectations, and honestly, I’m constantly amazed by how well they manage it all — and not at all surprised when things sometimes go a little (or a lot) wrong. At the same time, I know how much pressure many of us place on ourselves to give our dogs the very best and make sure they’re happy.

My aim is to support both dogs and their people with a realistic approach that is compassionate and kind. Whether you’re dealing with behaviours that feel frustrating, confusing, or emotionally draining, I’m here to help you better understand what your dog is communicating and why those behaviours may be happening.

Using positive, practical, and evidence-based methods, we’ll work together to create a realistic plan that restores balance, rebuilds confidence, and brings joy back into living together. Life with dogs will never be perfect — there will still be moments where we laugh and say, “really??” or “why on earth have you done that?” — but when behaviours are truly affecting your daily life and relationship with your dog, you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to help make life with your dog feel calmer, happier, and more enjoyable.
